Saint-Cézaire-sur-Siagne
Perched on the fringe of an imposing vertical wall, the village of Saint-Cézaire-Sur-Siagne stands in front of a superb panorama on the Siagne gorges. Here, forests of softwoods and broad-leaved trees are scattered with sublime terraces of olive groves. Take the time to stroll in the heart of this beautiful medieval village.

The Gorges de la Siagne
In any season, come and admire the beauties of Siagne, border between the Var and the Alpes-Maritimes. You will find yourself in a Natura 2000 site because of the exceptional richness of the natural heritage. Ride the 305 m vertical drop to reach the village through many marked trails. The cornices of malines are the delight of climbers.

The olive!
Benefiting from the controlled label of origin "Huile et olive de Nice", the oil of Saint-Cézaire-sur-Siagne, famous for its aromas is certainly one of the symbols of the municipality. Whether gold, silver or bronze, many medals awarded at various regional and national competitions reward the olive growers of this land.
Fauna
The Green Lizard
This green lizard, of its latin name Lacerta bilineata boasts a blue coloration at the level of the throat. It occupies a wide range of habitats such as forest edges or wastelands. It is a species that likes the environments with a abundant vegetation. For the little anecdote, it is called here, the Lambert.
Patrimony and history
The Amon well
The well made the wealth of the town. The Amon well and one of the most preserved of this particular territory. Composed of a circular stone building paired, closed by a dome and isolated in the center of a meadow, it does not seem to have suffered the passage of time.

The lake of Saint Cassien
True source of summer freshness, Lake Saint-Cassien is the most popular site in the Pays de Fayence. On this stretch of water of 420 hectares, many activities are available to you. Initially intended for the production of hydro-electric power, the lake has become a coveted recreational area that remains fragile. It is up to everyone to respect the site, the fauna and flora.

Description

From Saint-Cézaire-sur-Siagne, go up the road of Saint-Vallier-de-Thiey for 1.5 km to the bus shelter " des redonnets ".
1- Take a right on the small paved road for 100 m and turn left to reach another small road. Continue on a wide stony path marked 27.
2- Go down slightly to the left on another track and continue on the marked stony path (PR) to go back on a grassland area.
3- fork to the right and get to the beacon 28. Then deviate slightly on the right via the beacon 29. Go back down a pebble road and join the small village of Saint-Cézaire-sur-Siagne through small paved roads.
